Dedicated to the music videos of the '80s and '90s, MuchMoreRetro launched in 2003 for those who grew up watching their music on television. From archival favourites to unforgettable big-budget extravaganzas, MuchMoreRetro is Canada's source for 24/7 classic videoflow. Designed to silence the critics who complain that they can't find their favourite Gowan videos anymore, MuchMoreRetro has a very simple and totally awesome programming strategy: uh, like, video flow from artists like The Police, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Corey Hart, Prince, Duran Duran, Rush, Alanis Morisette, and more. MuchMoreRetro continues to spotlight Canadian talent through the MuchMoreRetro DVD series, which delivers some of the most historic concert events of the 80s by Glass Tiger, The Payolas, The Spoon, The Pursuit of Happiness, Ashley MacIsaac and, yes, Gowan. Although there is some resentment toward viewers born in the 80s, MuchMoreRetro is for viewers aged 18-49 and currently serves subscribers across Canada via digital cable and satellite and wireless carriers.
